Eastern Conference
(1) Cleveland vs (8) Detroit: The Cavs should have no problem winning this series. LeBron James is more than likely going to win the MVP and he is surrounded by a good supporting cast. Mo Williams has shown that he plays well alongside LeBron and the presence of Big Z in the paint will be too much for the aging Pistons. Cavs win series 4-0
(4) Atlanta vs (5) Miami: This series will be one of the better series of the first round in my opinion. Dwayne Wade has played like an MVP all year, and has helped carry the Heat to this point. The difference in this series just might be the homecourt advantage, which the Hawks have. Hawks win series 4-3
(3) Orlando vs (6) Philadelphia: Though the Magic will miss Jameer Nelson later in the playoffs, this shouldn't affect the outcome of the series. Dwight Howard is an absolute monster in the paint, and when the double teams come to him he kicks it out to the plenty of three shooters that the Magic have. Magic win series 4-1
(2) Boston vs (7) Chicago: Kevin Garnett's health has been apart of the headlines in sports for the past month and a half. The reports are that he may miss the entire playoffs. This helps out the Bulls a lot but I don't know if that will be enough to win the series. It will be tough for Ben Gordon to guard Ray Allen and as much as I really want the Bulls to win the series, I don't think they can do it. Celtics win series 4-2
